The Prisoner Learning Alliance is a network of over 200 members. Anyone with expertise, experience or an interest in prison education is welcome to become a PLA member; our current network includes prison officers, governors, prison teachers, voluntary sector workers, academics, people with lived experience of prison, and prison education providers.
There are two kinds of membership available: associate membership (available to individuals without lived experience of prison at no cost) and full membership (available to individuals with lived experience of prison at no cost, and to organisations for a small fee). Read more about each membership below.
