In-cell activity directory

Home > Our Work > In-cell activity directory

When prisons go into lockdown, prisoners spend a lot of time in their cells with less access to educational resources. We’ve created this directory of worksheets and materials for prisoners to use.

We would like to thank all the organisations and individuals who created and shared the resources listed below.

Creative writing

As well as providing you with something to read and look at for a few minutes, SafeGround hopes this letter will offer you some ideas, inspiration, reference and motivation for your own letter writing.

This eight-week virtual course will provide participants with the tools, exercises and ideas to write something that can be performed to a live audience. Each new workshop will be uploaded here as it is released on a weekly basis.

Creative activities and writing exercises based around Shakespeare, no prior knowledge of Shakespeare required.

Mindfulness and personal development

This pack was developed with a prisoner from Guys Marsh in 2016, who designed a peer-led addiction programme and who valued the importance of working together to address the problems we face in prison. Please contact info@penalreformsolutions.com for questions or more information.

Please email to request a password and then follow this link to access yoga worksheets.

Cell Workout has uploaded JPEGs and PDFs to bring together 40 days worth of materials, including 40 articles and 40 workouts. All of this is available to download and print here.

Miscellaneous
